International Olympiads Report
St. Xavier’s Champions Shine Bright in International Abacus Olympiad ✨
St. Xavier’s School, Rampura Phul, proudly honored its brilliant students who brought laurels to the school by winning awards in the International Abacus Olympiad. The event celebrated the hard work, discipline, and excellence of young achievers.
On this special occasion, Mr. Ranjeev Goyal, Director of Sharp Brains Education, graced the ceremony and blessed the students with words of encouragement.
School Coordinator Mrs. Prem Lata shared that more than 10,000 students from various countries, including India, participated online in the Olympiad. Among them, 46 students from St. Xavier’s School represented the institution with great enthusiasm and talent.
The highlight of the event was Khushant Mittal, a Class VII student who secured First Position in his category by solving the paper at record speed. He was awarded with a cash prize of ₹2100 and a trophy. Other students, including Agamveer Singh, Riyanshi, Japsimer Singh, Jatin Goyal, and Lavish Singla, received Special Awards for their outstanding performances. All participants were also presented with certificates and medals in recognition of their efforts.
Principal Father Eulalio Fernandes congratulated the winners and applauded their dedication. He highlighted that Abacus Education not only strengthens intellectual abilities but also proves to be a great advantage in competitive examinations. He further added that it helps students overcome their “Math Phobia” and develop confidence in problem-solving. He also appreciated Sharp Brains Education for their continuous efforts in nurturing students’ intellectual growth.
Addressing the students, Mr. Ranjeev Goyal inspired them to dream big and aim high. He advised them to value their precious time, avoid distractions such as excessive use of social media and mobile phones, and focus on achieving excellence in life.

and Class XII student, Apeksha has created history by becoming the first student in the history of St.
Xavier’s School to be honored with the State Award. She received this prestigious recognition from the
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Sh. Bhagwant Singh Mann, during the State-level Independence Day
celebrations held at Faridkot.
Alongside her academic excellence, Apeksha has made an extraordinary contribution to society by providing
free Vedic Mathematics training to more than 10,000 students across 25 government schools of Punjab, most
of
them from rural backgrounds. Her selfless initiative has helped countless children, especially girls,
overcome their fear of Mathematics and develop confidence in the subject.
Apeksha herself has set a shining example of brilliance and determination. She has to her credit 2 India
Book Records, 3 World Records in Mathematics, and victories in 4 National and International Abacus
Competitions, bringing immense pride and recognition to St. Xavier’s School and the entire state of
Punjab.
At St. Xavier’s, we celebrate Apeksha not only as a brilliant student but also as a true leader and change
maker. Her achievement has carved a new milestone in the legacy of our school, inspiring every Xavierite
to
dream big, work hard, and rise to greatness.
