INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Independence Day is an occasion of immense pride and joy for all Indians. To commemorate our great freedom fighters on this momentous day, 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St. Xavier's School, Rampura Phul on August 14, 2024. The school hosted an Inter House Dance Competition, featuring a variety of patriotic-themed activities. The event, graced by Chief Guest Dr. Ramil Mangla, a Consultant Psychiatrist and an Ex-Xavierite, saw enthusiastic participation from students. Classes 1 to 4 showcased their talents in a lively dance competition, while class 9 participated in a house-wise Rangoli competition. Additionally, class 7 students displayed their creativity through a poster-making activity. The event also included a rendition of patriotic songs, adding to the patriotic fervor. Students of 8th lily class with the help of their class teacher conducted special assembly in which they presented patriotic poem and speech. The most interesting part of the assembly was its play in which the students depicted the feelings of our beloved Shaheed Bhagat Singh on the day of execution. This play really filled everyone's heart with feelings of pride and patriotism. The Manager, Rev. Fr. Andre Fernandes, and the Principal, Rev. Fr. Eulalio Fernandes, commended participants for their outstanding performance and expressed their gratitude to Dr. Mangla for his visit.
