CBSE SEMINAR
St. Xavier’s School, Rampura Phul, hosted a two-day Capacity Building Programme on Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices on the 27th and 28th of May, 2024. The program aimed to equip educators with the latest strategies and methodologies in student assessment and evaluation, moving beyond traditional metrics to adopt a more holistic approach.
The esteemed resource persons for the program were Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Rana, Principal of Mata Jaswant Kaur Memorial School, Badal, and Ms. Sarita, an expert in educational assessment and pedagogy. Both speakers brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to the seminar. Mr. Rana's background in the CBSE framework and Ms. Sarita's expertise in innovative assessment practices provided a comprehensive foundation for the event.
Throughout the two-day seminar, Mr. Rana and Ms. Sarita engaged participants in a series of interactive sessions. They emphasized the importance of moving beyond traditional assessment methods and adopting a more comprehensive approach to evaluate student learning and development.
The programme featured numerous workshops and group activities, allowing educators to actively participate and apply the concepts discussed.
